This trip is designed for, but not limited to, people with a child sponsorship through Compassion International in Ecuador. The team will meet sponsored children, visit Compassion facilities and participate in a project to serve the community they visit. This trip is for ages 13 and older; a parent or legal guardian is required to travel with ages 13-15 years old.

80.44% are Catholic, 11.30% are Protestant, 1.29% are Jehovah’s Witnesses, and 6.97% are of a different faith. Atheists make up 7.94% of the population and Agnostics make up 0.11%. Buddhism has approximately 5,000 members in all of Ecuador. The Jewish community of Ecuador has about 300 members and there is only one synagogue. The Muslims in Ecuador are of the Sunni denomination and number about 100 members.
Ecuador has many remote areas, including the Amazon and the Andes.
