That's a Wrap!
We had the BEST time learning that Jesus is the light that brings hope to a dark world this year at VBS/VBX. Check out photos from each campus and donation totals on this page! And don't forget our VBS/VBX playlists so you can keep the fun going all Summer long!
VBS/VBX 2026: Illumination Station
It’s time for the best week of the year–VBS/VBX! It’s going to be an action-packed week of Bible stories, missions, science experiments, worship, recreation and more! Church at The Mill will have three identical VBS/VBX experiences; you just pick the campus location that works best for your family!
Our theme this year is Illumination Station! Culture claims to know about Jesus, but many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher, but He is much more than that. Illumination Station VBS/VBX challenges kids to answer Jesus’s important question to His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” As we explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light that brings hope to a dark world.
We invite all kids K3 (must be 4 years old by 9/1/26) through current 5th grade to join us for an epic VBS/VBX experience, which includes extra adventure for our 4th–5th graders at VBX!
We’re excited to offer three locations for VBS/VBX again this year! Programming will take place at our campuses at the following times.

VBS/VBX Missions Donations
This year, we are serving the communities that our campuses reach by gathering food donations from each campus VBS for His Storehouse Food Pantry at our Lake Cooley Campus and Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen. Your donations make a BIG impact!
Additionally, each campus will have the opportunity to give monetary donations to support the Through Our Eyes project, a ministry which uses photography as a way to share the gospel with people across the world. Through Our Eyes gives disposable cameras to people and asks them to tell their stories from their own, unique perspectives. All monetary funds raised during VBS/VBX will help Through Our Eyes purchase cameras and pay for printing and development for a new project in New York City in 2027.

Our children's safety is a top priority! Therefore, we require ALL volunteers to go through a thorough process. If you are interested in serving, please click the link for volunteers at the top of the page.
Yes, each class has a scheduled snack time each night.
Drop off will take place from 5:45-6:00 each evening. For the safety of all children, by 6:15 PM, all adults who are not registered volunteers are required to exit all areas of the campus where VBS/VBX programming will take place. Parents may not stay on campus.
Anyone may register at any entrance, regardless of whether or not they're preregistered. Both sides of the Main Building/Concourse and the Kids' Building Preschool entrance will have check-in stations.
VBX has its own separate entrance at Central Campus (off Lot C).
Pick up will begin at 8:45 each night. Please note: all parents/guardians will be asked to remain outside our entrances until all children are safely back in their designated areas and ready to dismiss. A parent/guardian tag is required at pick-up. Our system will create a new, unique pick-up tag each day. Lost tag stations will be set up at each entrance to reprint tags. In order to recover a lost tag, you will need an ID and to be listed as a parent/guardian or an emergency contact. We take children's safety very seriously and want to make sure all kids are going home with their correct families!
Pro Tip: Take a picture of the pick-up tag. It can be used in the event you misplace your tag.
We'd love to have your child every night, but we understand other commitments and schedules may not make that possible. We are thankful for any nights your child joins us.

Teach your children the value of giving through VBS/VBX! Read below to learn more about this year's VBS/VBX partners, and feel free to get a head start on collecting canned goods and monetary donations. We'll begin collecting these items the first day of each campus's VBS/VBX programming.
This year, we are serving the communities that our campuses reach by gathering food donations from each campus VBS for His Storehouse Food Pantry at our Lake Cooley Campus. The His Storehouse Food Pantry helps families in the Lake Cooley area get through to the end of each month—and your donations make a BIG impact!
Our most-needed items for the food pantry are:
• Canned veggies (except corn & green beans)
• Canned meats
• Canned fruits
• Jiffy mixes
• Crackers
• Cooking oil
At this time, we don't need corn or green beans, because we’ve got plenty! Please be sure to check dates on all food items to make sure they’ll still be in-date when we distribute them to our neighbors over the Summer!
Additionally, each campus will have the opportunity to give monetary donations to support our the Through Our Eyes Project.
