The team will work alongside our ministry partner, Pearl Foundation Nicaragua, whose mission is to share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ to the people of Nicaragua through feeding programs, children’s backyard bible clubs, discipleship classes, sports ministries, prison ministries, and nursing home ministries. The team will help with a children’s feeding program, door-to-door evangelism, teaching the Bible, and possibly a light construction project.

Did You Know?

There is no official religion in Nicaragua, but about one-half of Nicaraguans are Roman Catholic. Evangelical Protestantism has grown considerably, particularly among the poor, and it is the religion of about one-third of the population. There are small Moravian and Anglican communities on the Caribbean coast. A very small Jewish community exists in larger cities.

30% of the population of Nicaragua lives in poverty and it remains the second-poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

Nicaragua is considered the safest country in Central America. It has a tropical climate and is warm year round.
