GOING

We want to live out the truth of Acts 20:24

But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.

Through small groups, fellowship, Bible studies and opportunities to serve, we help our Senior Adults find community, spiritual growth, support and care.

MIDWEEK

Gospel Treason: Betraying the Gospel with Hidden Idols

by Brad Bigney

Led by Asheton Amerson

6:00-7:30PM, Room 229

Wednesdays, Starts Jan. 10th

Cost: $15

An idol can be anything we allow to become more important than God wants it to. This study will help us better understand the idols of our life and the steps we can take to make sure that God says priority one.

12 Ordinary Men

by John MacArthur

Led by Bob and Bobbie Grell

6:00-7:30PM, Room 227

Wednesdays, Starts Jan. 10th

Cost: $10

This study will take a look at the twelve disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament. Jesus chose ordinary men - fisherman, tax collectors, political zealots - and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. MacArthur draws principles from Christ's careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples to help us be better disciple makers.

Women's Study: Armor of God

by Priscilla Shirer

Led by Candi Grubbs

6:00-7:30PM, Room 228

Wednesdays, Starts Jan. 10th

Cost: $15

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. The Enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory. (7 Sessions)

Women's Study: The Wellness Revelation

by Alisa Keeton

Led by Tracy Malone

6:00-7:30PM, Room 226

Wednesdays, Starts Jan. 10th

Cost: $15

Weight loss can sometimes be a very self-focused endeavor. Maybe you have struggled with your weight your entire life, riding a constant roller coaster of numbers that go up and down. Or maybe you are finding yourself more stressed out by the world and all its demands. Perhaps you just don’t feel as well in your body as you do in your spirit.

In The Wellness Revelation, certified fitness professional Alisa Keeton will challenge you to get fit with God so that He can free you to complete your purpose. She teaches that when we get fit physically as well as spiritually, we will be better equipped to love and serve others. The Wellness Revelation will change the way you perceive yourself and the way that you live your life.
