Not God Enough: Why Your Small God Leads To Big Problems by JD Greer. Led by Paul Stubblefield

  • We like God small. We prefer a God who is safe, domesticated, who thinks as we think, likes what we like, and whom we can manage, predict, and control. A small God is convenient. Practical. Manageable. The truth: God is big. Bigger than big. Bigger than all the words we use to say big. Only a God of infinite power, wisdom, and majesty can answer our deepest questions and meet our deepest longings. Join us as we read and discuss more of our BIG God.
  • Starts Wednesday, January 8th, from 6:00-7:30 PM.
  • Cost: $10
  • Room W106

Parenting Class: Shepherding a Child's Heart Book Study. Led by Nate & Jaime Brown

  • Parenting is hard. Fortunately, God's Word has much to say to us about how to properly love and raise our children. When our children display bad behavior, we must be careful that we do not stop with correcting only the behavior, but that we are sure to shepherd their very hearts that drive their behaviors. This study will offer practical, Biblical, and clear instructions that will help you guide your child’s heart and bring God glory in your parenting. This class is appropriate for parents of children of any age.
  • Cost: $10
  • Room W207

Women’s Study: Better, A Study of Hebrews by Jen Wilkin. Led by Kimberly Henderson

  • Learn how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone with the help of this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews. Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Utilizing both weekly in-class video sessions and personal study segments to work on at home, we’ll explore how God "provided something better for us" in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40).
  • Starts Wednesday, January 8th, from 6:00-7:30 PM.
  • Cost: $15
  • Room W102
