JOIN US THIS DECEMBER FOR OUR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION SERVICES IN SPARTANBURG, SC
The glory of God is revealed throughout the Christmas story. It inspires us to truly prepare our hearts to worship and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Glory, as defined by humankind, is simply a great delight, awe. But glory from heaven’s perspective not only belongs to God alone but is the very revelation of God, the expression of His greatness. The fullness of who God is, pouring out for us to behold- that is the glory of God. And that is the glory of Christmas: Jesus, the glory of God, in a manger. The Glory of heaven invading earth to save those separated from God by sin.

WHAT IS ADVENT AND WHAT WE ARE DOING TO CELEBRATE IT?
Advent is from the Latin word "adventus", meaning "coming" or "arrival." Advent is a season of anticipation when Christ-followers prepare their hearts to celebrate the coming of Jesus. Advent is observed over the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas, beginning the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and including special observances on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
