About The FACT Ministry

Our Mission

The vision of our ministry called FACT (Foster & Adoption Care Team) is to provide support and encouragement to church members who are currently involved in foster care or adoption or desire to start the process. FACT also provides on-ramps to individuals, families, and small groups to support foster and adoptive families.

We Do This Through…

Prayer

We establish Care Community Groups, which provide prayer support and other practical needs for families. We encourage foster & adoptive families to join Small Groups which can also serve as their Care Community Group.

Provisions

Our Care Community Groups help provide tangible items for our foster and adoptive families. We also have a care closet on campus with essentials for new placements, such as diapers, wipes, formulas, car seats, underwear, socks, etc.

Pause

We believe it is important to spend time one-on-one with your spouse. For this reason, we offer date night boxes for foster & adoptive parents of the church to encourage our FACT families to prioritize their marriages.

Preparation

We offer educational opportunities on campus for foster & adoptive families. We understand the connection and behavioral challenges these families face, so we bring trained professionals to our campus who can help educate our families on how to face these challenges. Education hours are always offered for those who need them.
