Creative Arts Camp

At Creative Arts Camp (CAC), our mission is to inspire the next generation to discover their unique identities in Christ, embrace the gifts He has given them, and learn how to use those gifts to glorify Him. We provide a dynamic, high-energy environment where campers not only grow spiritually, but also experience a world-class arts camp that challenges their creativity and talents.

About our Creative Arts Camp

Discover Your Purpose. Unleash Your Creativity.

CAC is a week-long, action-packed day camp hosted by Church at The Mill each Summer at our Central Campus in Moore, SC. Our campers—whether they’re performing on stage, creating art, or learning new skills—are immersed in a comprehensive arts experience that combines fun, fellowship, and faith. Every year, we select a high-quality, age-appropriate production for our budding actors to rehearse and perform for the community. While auditions are held for larger roles, participation in the camp is open to everyone, regardless of auditioning experience.

We are excited to offer two distinct camps to meet the needs of different age groups:

  • CAC Kids for rising 2nd–5th graders
  • CAC Students for rising 6th–12th graders

With a focus on fun and creativity, they'll explore the underwater adventure while learning about teamwork, the power of friendship, and discovering the gifts God has placed in them. From acting and singing to dancing and stagecraft, this camp is an unforgettable journey under the sea—culminating in a spectacular performance for family and friends at the end of the week.

CAC Students

Rising 6th–12th Graders

Our student camp will tackle the magical world of Aladdin Jr.! With larger-than-life characters, incredible music, and dynamic choreography, students will be challenged to refine their artistic abilities while growing in their leadership and spiritual walk. Through worship, preaching, Small Groups, and specialized arts tracks, students will not only rehearse for their grand production but will also develop a deeper understanding of who they are in Christ.

Both camps will feature Company Rehearsals, where campers work together to bring these fantastic productions to life. It’s a week that blends artistic excellence with spiritual enrichment, leaving every camper feeling empowered and inspired.

Whether you’re an aspiring actor, musician, dancer, or artist, Creative Arts Camp is the perfect place to discover new talents, build lasting friendships, and grow closer to Christ. Join us for an unforgettable summer at CAC—where Creativity Flourishes and Faith Grows!

Auditions:
Auditions are not required for campers to attend camp or participate in the performance. All campers will have a role in the performance. However, auditions are held in the spring for those interested in specialty roles, such as lead characters or trained dancer positions.

CASTING:
Casting is based on the auditions we receive, with roles being filled by those who are best suited for each part. Each show will require a specific number of cast members, and while we will strive to open as many spots as possible, not everyone who auditions will receive a place in the cast due to the limited number of roles available. Those who are not cast will be given a special new role called "Lead Camper." Lead campers will be invited to participate in a read-through, offering them an inside view of the show, and will also be given specialty roles during "Camp Week." However, they will not attend Cast Week, which is reserved for special rehearsals for our cast only. Our ultimate goal is to set up both the cast and the lead campers for a successful show, ensuring that everyone involved has a rewarding and positive experience.

Audition Dates:
March 13–15, 2025 (by appointment only).

Registration & Audition Details:
You must register for camp before scheduling an audition time. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email granting you access to the camp details, communication, and audition information.

Important Dates for Cast:

Cast Week: June 16–19, 2025 (required for auditioned cast only).

We offer scholarships for camp to ensure every child/student has the opportunity to grow, learn, and create lasting memories, regardless of financial circumstances. By removing barriers, we aim to make camp accessible to all, fostering inclusion and helping participants build confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills. Please click here for the scholarship application.

We also offer a unique opportunity for our CAC students through the Creative Crew. This group works behind the scenes during company rehearsals and performances, assisting with tasks like stage management, lighting, sound, and more. Interested students will complete an application and interview process. Those selected will gain valuable hands-on experience in the essential elements of production.
