PREPARING FOR CHRISTMAS
Advent is from the Latin word "adventus", meaning "coming" or "arrival." Advent is a season of anticipation when Christ-followers prepare their hearts to celebrate the coming of Jesus.
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO CELEBRATE ADVENT?
This year at Church at The Mill, we are preparing our hearts for Christmas by focusing on the themes of Advent. Each Sunday leading to Christmas, we will focus on Hope, Peace, Joy, Love, Light, Christ, and Wonder.
We will have a time of Christmas-focused Worship on December 20th called "Hope Awakes" at the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services.
On Christmas Eve, we will come together with our families to joyfully celebrate the arrival of Jesus with a candlelight service on Thursday, December 24th at 3:00 PM or 4:30 PM. Childcare will be available for all of these services for ages K5 and younger.
